Yosi Lahad, CEO
Yosi brings over 25 years of diverse leadership experience to FiberZone. He has led companies as CEO and Chairman from the start-up/R&D phase to sales growth and M&A, and has held varied positions ranging from interdisciplinary product development to international sales and business development. Before joining FiberZone, Yosi led the turn around of Octalica, a provider of home networking products, serving as active Chairman and interim CEO until the company was acquired by Broadcom (NASDAQ: BRCM). Prior to Octalica, he served as CEO of Avantry Networks, formed by the merger of RadioTel and Witcom. Avantry successfully delivered wireless and networking products to global telecom and datacom customers and was acquired by Unity Wireless. Yosi previously served as VP of Sales and Marketing at RADLAN, a data communications company subsequently acquired by Marvell (NASDAQ: MRVL). Earlier in his career, Yosi established the China operations of Tadiran, serving as the country’s Managing Director, and held R&D positions in the Israeli Air Force and at ELBIT, where he was responsible for command, control, and communications systems. Yosi currently serves as Chairman of two start-ups and is a faculty member at the Graduate School of Business, Tel Aviv University. Yosi holds an M.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Texas, an MBA from Tel Aviv University, and a B.Sc in Engineering from the Technion, Israel’s premier technology-focused university.

Joe Teixeira, VP Product Management

Joe has been in the high-tech networking and telecommunications industry since 1983. He joins FiberZone as an accomplished professional having held various engineering and management positions throughout his career, most recently serving as VP of Engineering/Strategic Alliances at NHC Communications. At NHC, Joe led a design team to develop the first successfully commercialized automated copper distribution frame system in North America and was instrumental in negotiating critical partnerships for this project. He has authored a number of patents and has held additional lead engineering positions in the design and development of copper and optical based connectivity technologies for such companies as Mux Lab, Orexis and Western Totalizator. Joe has a B.Eng. degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from McGill University.

Jim Lang, VP Sales Americas
Jim Lang brings over 25 years of sales, business development and marketing leadership experience to FiberZone via several public and venture funded telecom equipment companies. 
Jim has specialized in the development and building of well respected sales teams for several successful strong young companies and has a proven history of implementing rapid revenue growth strategies via executive level management of direct sales, strategic partnerships, OEMs, and distribution channels.  Before joining FiberZone Networks, Jim was the Vice President of Global Sales and Customer Service at Aktino.  Prior to Aktino, Jim was with Meriton Networks, via the acquisition of Mahi Networks where he held the positions as Vice President of Global Sales Development and Vice President of North American Sales.  Before joining Mahi, Jim was with Transmode Systems based in Stockholm, Sweden where he was North American Vice President Sales & Business Development and played a key role in developing the European based company’s early success in North America.  Prior to Transmode Systems, Jim was Vice President Sales World Wide Sales with Astral Point Communications, where he grew the optical systems company's revenues quarter over quarter, and played a key role in the acquisition of Astral Point by Alcatel.  Prior to Astral Point, Jim was Vice President North American Sales for Pirelli Optical Systems and played a key role in the Pirelli’s Telecom Systems Group acquisition by Cisco.  Jim holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration and B.A. in Psychology from Metropolitan State University.

Hai Pedut, VP Research & Development
Hai brings more than 24 years of development and sustaining experience, having led teams developing challenging, multi-disciplinary electro optical systems for various markets. 
Before joining Fiberzone, Hai led both professional teams and program managers at KLA-Tencor US (NASDAQ: KLAC) developing Scatterometry Critical Dimension metrology systems in the Semiconductors market. He also managed development and sustaining of overlay metrology systems at KLA-Tencor Israel, both with very high market share. Previously at Rafael, Hai led the development of sophisticated and challenging systems such as missile seekers, thermal imaging systems and Electro Optical algorithm product. Hai holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Cum Laude from the Technion and an MBA from Haifa University (Israel).

Emi Scliar, VP Human Resources
Emi has 22 years of experience in Human Resources and in career, organizational and management consulting. She has spent over 11 years managing Human Resources of high-tech companies, from start-ups to multinational corporations. Prior to joining Fiberzone, Emi was VP of HR at Radlan, and after working on the company's 2003 acquisition by Marvell Semiconductors, served as Director of HR at Marvell. Emi has vast experience in recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, management coaching, crises resolving, and internal organization consulting. Emi holds a BA in behavioral sciences from Ben Gurion University (Israel) and an MA in sociology from Tel Aviv University.

Avigdor Shlomovits, VP Customer Services
Avigdor has ten years of experience in leading customer care & global services teams, and 12 years of additional experience in leading R&D teams. From 2003 to 2005, Avigdor was Senior Director of Customer Care at PowerDsine (acquired by Microsemi, NASDAQ: MSCC), which develops, manufactures and sells Power over Ethernet (PoE) systems. From 2000 to 2003, he was a Director of Customer Care with TdSoft, a company engaged in the design & manufacture of voice gateways. From 1995 to 2000, Avigdor managed Technical Support & R&D teams at Orckit (NASDAQ: ORCT), a provider of xDSL infrastructure. From 1984 to 1995, Avigdor served as a Senior Director of R&D in the aircraft department at Elbit Systems. Avigdor holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Technion and an MBA from Harriot - Watt University (Edinburgh).

Chani Shanweter, CFO
Chani has over 20 years of experience in financial management in fields such as biotech, telecommunications, and business intelligence. Prior to joining FiberZone, Chani worked for nearly 10 years at Tdsoft, a telecom company as Controller and Director of International Finance and Operations, where she was in charge of accounting, reporting, and controlling. In addition, Chani established and operated five international subsidiaries, managed several investment rounds, prepared TdSoft for an IPO and managed a reverse merger with VocalTech (NASDAQ: VOCL ).  Chani previously served as Director of Finance at Business Events, a business intelligence company, where she established the accounting, reporting controlling, and operating systems. She led private investment funding through venture capital and venture lending. Chani managed her own accounting firm for about 10 years, working with clients from a wide variety of industries.
Over the years, Chani has been an active member on several boards of directors, and currently serves on the board of ITGI Medical (TASE: ITGI). Chani holds BA degrees in Accounting and Social Science from Bar Ilan University (Israel) and is a Certified Public Accountant and a qualified arbitrator.

Omer Regev, VP Operations
Omer has more than 25 years of experience in hi-tech manufacturing, engineering, and outsourcing management. Before joining FiberZone, Omer served as VP of Operations at OREX, a Kodak company, where he was responsible for production, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, engineering, IT, sales administration and QA. He previously served as VP of Operations at Lumenis, formerly ESC Medical Systems, and VP Operations at IDC a provider of automation systems. Prior to that he held a number of senior management positions at Kulicke & Soffa and at Elbit. Omer holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, both from the Technion.
